Tuesday
In celebration of the Year 4's Integration topic this term, 'Journeys, Encounters and Voices', our students have the opportunity to experience what life may have been like sailing on a ship many years ago. Launched in 1885 in Belfast, the Polly Woodside made 17 trips around the world and operated between Australia and New Zealand.
Our focus is History based, and students will be consolidating their learning from the classroom about the Age of Exploration.
Students are required to be at their classroom at 8:45am so that we can depart Timbarra at 9:00am sharp. We will return to school around 2:30pm and students will be dismissed from their classroom at 3:10pm.
Students are required to bring 1 disposable bag (plastic bag/paper bag) that is clearly labelled with their name and class. It should include their snack, lunch, fruit snack and drink bottle. Please ensure that students have adequate food as our break times will be different to our usual daily schedule.
