As part of our Inquiry-Based Learning program, 'Growing, Caring Kids', students will have the opportunity to experience the growth, changes, and reproduction of living things, with similarities to themselves. To mark the completion of this unit of inquiry and celebrate our understanding, a Chesterfield Farm excursion is planned for Wednesday, 6th of September. During this outing, students will have a hands-on experience of how plants and animals are nurtured and cared for, for various purposes.

Students should be prompt in coming to their classrooms on the day of the excursion as the bus will leave at 9.15am. Students to bring recess and lunch in a paper bag with their class and name clearly labelled on the front. Students are asked to bring a water bottle with their name clearly labelled on the front. In case of poor weather, we ask that students wear an additonal water proof layer to their school uniform. If they would like to wear gum boots instead of school shoes, this can also happen.
