Tuesday
The Melbourne Experience will take place from Monday November 27th to Wednesday November 29th 2023, inclusive. Students will travel independently by train (with friends) from home on Monday morning to Melbourne Central Train Station where they will be met by staff at approximately 9.15am.
On Wednesday 29th of November students will travel by train back to Berwick Station. Students will be supervised by school staff. Students will be dismissed from Berwick station from 3pm. Students will need to have their own Myki card loaded with approximately $25 credit.
Please click here for a proposed itinerary for the Melbourne City Experience, which includes 2 night’s accommodation at a city venue (The Village Melbourne). The cost of the Melbourne City Experience is $350.00 per student, which covers accommodation costs, breakfast and a range of activities. From previous experience we have found that students have preferred to buy their own food while on camp rather than the food provided by the camp. Therefore to keep costs down, we have not included any lunches or dinners. Students will need to bring enough money for two dinners and two lunches. Students can bring their own lunch on the first day. There will be food available at the Village Melbourne.
Camp costs have risen across the board in 2023, due to companies raising prices and time in lieu payments required for staff to attend.
Full payment is required by Thursday 9th November.
All families are eligible to make 8 fortnightly payments in Compass commencing on Thursday 3rd August. See below for amounts.
