| Year 7 Students will be walking to Village Cinemas at Fountain Gate to watch the new Inside Out 2 movie as part of our Emotional Intelligence Unit. Students have been learning about our emotions, how body language can link to emotions and learning about their personal strengths. This excursion will be concluding this unit of learning and is a celebration of all their hard work from Semester One. We will be departing from Timbarra College at 11:06am (start of recess) and making our way along Ryelands Drive and Magid Drive into Fountain Gate. The walk will take approximately 30-45 minutes. The movie will begin at 12:00pm and finish around 1:30-2.00pm. We will proceed to make our way back along the same route and return to school. Students are permitted to wear their sports uniform for the day as there is a lot of walking involved. Tickets are accompanied with a small popcorn for the movie, and students can bring their own water with them or purchase a drink from the mini bar at the cinemas. |
